BROOKE FERRIS is a devisor, clown, actor, and singer. She was seen most recently in the 2026 Dixon Place Hot Festival with her new solo clown show My Orgasm and Me. She was also seen at the 2026 NYC Fringe Festival in the co-devised clown/physical theater piece How To Become A Saint (while wearing pants), produced by Butch Mermaid Productions, which won the award for Staff Choice Overall Winner. Brooke played St. Margery Kempe to critical acclaim.

Brooke has also been seen by sold out audiences in her original solo show How to BDSM at PhysFest NYC 2024, directed and co-devised by Rachel Resnick. How to BDSM has also graced the stages of The Hot Festival at Dixon Place, the Brooklyn Art Haus, The Idiot’s Hour, and Pine Box Rock Shop. Brooke has worked with Ania Upstill in their Clown Ensemble and with Becca Canziani in Devising Jam. Brooke also co-produces Down To Clown, a monthly space for new clown works-in-progress the second Thursday of every month at the Pine Box Rock Shop. 

In addition to clowning, Brooke was delighted to be a part of Babel, a communal acrobatic theatrical dance piece off-Broadway at the 14th Street Y. She has performed solo cabaret at the Duplex in Brooke Ferris: On Fire, and as part of the 4-part harmony group Harmonic Proposal in Enjoy the Journey and I Can’t Even.  

Fun Fact: Brooke played Alpha 5 in the national tour of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers! Brooke has a BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Michigan and is married to thirst trap and talented actor Kevin J. Allen.
